1988年埼玉県生まれ、ドイツ・ベルリン在住。

ドラマー。2006年、the cabsを結成し、本格的に音楽活動を開始する。2013年、the cabsが解散。翌年、正規メンバーとしてplentyに加入。その後も、スタジオミュージシャンとして数多くのレコーディングに携わる。サポートドラマーの経験も豊富で、国内外のツアー、フェスティバルに帯同。

2018年、ドイツ・ベルリンに活動拠点を移す。芳醇なグルーブからタイトな打撃まで、ジャンルを大胆に横断するプレイスタイルで数多くプロジェクトに参加。活動の範囲はドイツのみならず、ポルトガルやオランダ、スペイン、オーストリアにまでおよぶ。そのかたわら、ベルリンのムードを反射する実験・即興音楽に傾倒。Novatoron、Street Fightを結成し、表現をよりリベラルに拡張する。また、近藤愛助や、長倉友紀子の映像作品に参画するなど、ドラム以外の音楽制作にも活動の場を広げる。

2025年、the cabs再結成。同時に7年間滞在したドイツ・ベルリンを離れ、日本を活動拠点とする予定。

Itta Nakamura is a drummer from Japan. Now based in Berlin.

In 2006, he started The Cabs, a legendary Japanese Math Rock band. In 2013, The Cabs disbanded and he joined Plenty as an official member the following year. Since then, he has worked as a session musician, contributing to many recordings. With extensive experience as a touring drummer, he performed at festivals around the world.
In 2018, he moved to Berlin. His playing style boldly crosses genres, from rich grooves to tight rhythms, and he has participated in a variety of projects. His works extend beyond Germany, reaching Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain, and Austria. Meanwhile, he also delved into experimental and improvised music that reflects the mood of Berlin. He started Novatoron and Street Fight, expanding his expressions in a more liberal direction. In addition, he has contributed to music projects beyond drumming, including the video works of Aisuke Kondo and Yukiko Nagakura.
In 2025, The Cabs is reunite. Then he is going to leave Berlin, where he has lived for seven years, and move to Japan.
